Vantage Point Change of Management to Marathon Properties
Vantage Point Owners,
I am pleased to announce the selection of a new Property Management firm that will handle the HOA Management at Vantage Point. Marathon Properties will take full management responsibility on January 1, 2023. The transition from the former National Property Management (NPM) to Marathon Properties, @DNLeeper as the main point of contact, will begin December 1, 2022. Although this wasn''t a unanimous decision, the majority voted for the change. We appreciate the time that NPM has served our community but realize its limitations and want the best for our community.
To introduce myself and for context, I have been on the Vantage Point Board in some capacity since 1996. I remember the historical context; where it came from, amenities like the pool and tennis courts etc. At that time, we did have a multi-person commercial company, Steven D. Bell and Co., that handled the management with Terry Slatter being the main point of contact and manager. It has been my desire to get back to that model for several reasons that we''ll get into below.
The board came up with a laundry list of what Terry Slatter did 20 years ago, what other successful condominium HOA''s and other nonprofits are doing organizationally to retain the condominiums values, and protect your investment within the community.
