What strategies or advice can be offered to the beginning rehabber on how to propertly budget and estimate and plan things? Always hire an inspector? Always hire a general contractor?
There are numerous post that discuss same and I have written several articles on the matter......I suggest you do searches and read as much as possible.........rehabbing can be profitable if you know what you are doing and have your ducks in a row......you can also lose your shirt if you jump in blindly.
