Quick Books Help/templates?

BobSmith32 profile photo
Dear Group, I am a new landlord, having just bought 6 rental houses. I read that Quick Books is a good software program for keeping track of income, expenses, etc...and so I got a copy of Quick Books 2002 from eBay. However, I'm finding it confusing to set up for my properties. Are there any Quick Book Real estate modules or templates available that would make things easier for me? Does anyone have a Quick Book template of their own they could e-mail to me? Much thanks. Bob

I know on the 2004 version that when you register, you can call an advisor to ask such a question and for help. DOn't know about 2002.

In this thread, Shirley mentions a product called The Creative Real Estate Investors Guide to Bookkeeping that uses QuickBooks

QuickBooks works perfectly if set up properly. I have 3 properties and started using QB2002. Just upgraded to QB2004. If you can't set it up yourself, find a QuickBooks Certified accountant to do it for you. Best money I ever spent.
