Good Idea?
I am throwing around the idea of putting together a list of all the houses for sale/Rent in my area, i would get them from other investos, FSBO's and management companies. Then I would either sell the lists for a cupple bucks a pop, to cover printing costs, or give them away for free. I would charge a flat fee to the person selling/renting the house was done so through my list.
Does this sound like somthing you fellow investors would be interested in? Im just trying to be creative here, but then again, Im sure some on all ready does such a thing.

May I draw your attention to the MLS, they have such lists that you can pull down onto your computer. They have them broken into areas. For example in the South Eastern end of the San Fernando they have a list of 850 houses which are for sale and rent. You merely dial in and put the list on your monitor. Then you mouse down until you see one you like. You double click and a breakdown of the listing of the house appears. You call in and start to Negotiate. Oh yes it is considered good practice to go look at the house.
There are some Web Sites also. But I am concerned as to their accuracy.
Your thinking is excellent. come up with some other applications.

So it might be a better idea to have a web site that serves the same perpuse? then again, I am pretty sure there are numerious web sites that do the same thing, but it might be better to specialize in just my area. And I am pretty busy all ready with the web sites I am having built for other things.

You can create lists and sell lists. You can not receive compensation if someone buys or sells unless you have a license (issued by the state).
As already noted the MLS will have everything but the FSBO. The FSBO are a small percentage of the possible properties for sale.
