Preforeclosure Listings
I am beginning my preforeclosure REI and am looking for a good source of listings. How can I find preforeclosures in my state? I am in Missouri. I see the notices in the legal papers, but they only seem to be 2-3 weeks before the sale. Any help appreciated.
I will tell you this since I'm in Seattle and you are not..smirk... You need to go into the county records and search for that info you search for notice of trustee sale or Trustee sale heading and fill in a few months prior of dates. Sales usually go 90 days after notice has been served so if you check dates like 1/12/03 the sale should occur on say 4/12/03 something like that. Good luck to you in your ventures...and make sure you don't get stung and buy a second mortgage at the auction.....I have seen banks forclose on seconds before the firsts lately...my advice be careful and be diligent on your title searches to make sure your bidding on a first note. square deals to you all.
