Digging Your Own Water Well?
Anyone have experience with digging/driving your own water well. From my web research it sounds like digging or driving your own well can save thousands if done right.
Have also tried to find companies which would rent a well driller but have had no luck.

in CA there are permit, and health dept. issues.
I beleive you have o have a license.
Check your local and state requirements...........I have had many wells dug for homes I have built in outlying areas......my average bill is around $3500.00

Hammering your own well can be done if the table is close to the surface. It is pretty easy to build a tripod and set up a pully system you can rig this to your truck and then release I made it 15ft.
