Good Book?

wromans profile photo

I'm getting ready to do my first REI deal, but I want to learn more information before we close on the deal. I'm looking to buy/fix-up/then flip. Can someone recommend a book that would address my situation? At the present time, I'm not that interested in being a land lord. Thanks for your help.

    Flipping Properties by Bronchick/Dahlstrom.

Also if you search this site someone did an article on 105 good reads and that might help you find what you are looking for.

There are some books that cover all three. I have not read many of them.

There are many books that focus on ways to buy. What you do after buying might not matter much. Some ways to buy are more optimized to flipping but the buy cycle is largely one you can study without having to be tied to the exit.

I strong suggest you do your reading before you try to make any creative offers.

I liked the Enlightened One-Minute Millionaire. Half of the book is a textbook and the other half is a fictional story in which the main character applies the textbook concepts.

I have both of Steve Cooks books on wholesaling and flipping. They are the best in the business and he is available on his website to answer any and all questions.

    Respectfully,
