Would Doing This Help?

I just recently had my credit pulled and discovered that my once high scores of 748, 760, 780 had dropped to 680, 710, 690. Why? Apparently because of this one darn credit card that I got through the mail. I had a credit limit of $1200, which I reached slowly, but paid each month. Two things messed me up. 1) the credit card company CHANGES the doggone due date ever so often. I didn't notice this at first, just thinking that my due was such and such and paid accordingly. WELL...I sent in one payment on the 13th (as usual) only to discover that it was due on the 5th. (now the credit card company has a tiny little notice to consumers to 'watch' the due date). As a result, my zero-interest account was charged $29 in late fees. Then, when I had reached my 1200 limit, without thinking, I charged $80 over the limit. And even though I paid it that same month, along with my regular payment, once I realized what I had done - I was billed another $29 fee. All this shows up on my credit report. And it shows that $80 as an overage. Drats!!! There went my score.

If I wrote a letter to the credit bureaus protesting the credit card company's processes, do you think I'd have a leg to stand on? I've always taken pride in my good credit, and even though my scores are still good enough to take care of my business, it burns me up that these 'itty bitty' things (to me) could jack me up like this. Pay it down...

    ...it's only $1200K

When YOU pay it off early and before it's due....YourCreditScore should go up!!!

    a ShortTime2ndJOB...WILL WORK...

    ....as always,
