Targeted Letters

I am a new member from South Carolina and currently own one rental property. I have read several books on wholesaling properties and would like to get started by sending out targeted letters to some properties I have identified in my area. Does anyone have any advice on the verbiage one should use in such letters or can you recommend some books that may have sample letters to follow? I hate to layout the $300-500 for a course at this time just to get a template to follow. Appreciate your suggestions.

    1. Look at John Locke's materials. I think his post card template is on-line for no charge.

    2. Check around on the web. I am sure you will come across a number of different templates.

    BUT>>>

The biggest thing that will make a difference is repeated mailings to the same group of people. A great letter sent to someone who is not looking to sell will not attract a response. A poor letter in the hands of a highly motivated seller will get you a call.
