Any Attorney's Familiar With Sub2 In Chicago Area?
I've been trying to locate attorney's in the Chicago area that are familiar with doing a closing with the documents that are necessary for a Sub2 deal. When I called a few and asked them I heard a long pause. I just read William Tingle's Sub2 course(which was excellent) and I am trying to put together my team so I can start looking for deals. Finding an attorney who can do my closings is turning out to be be a PITA. Does anyone in the area have someone they can recommend?
Not sure about Tingle's course. If you follow John Locke's method you should be able to do your own closings though. If your concerned with an attorney for contracts pm me, I went through that ordeal recently.
You are going to have to start interviewing. It took me at least 2 dozen attornies before I found one competent.
Or you can ask for referrals from your local REIA club. That's the best way. Why waste time interviewing a dozen when you could ask the big time investors who already know the good attorneys?
