Short Sale Investment Properties?
I am speaking with a person who has 2 rentals in NC that are underwater and lives out of state in a SFH. He needs to get out of the investment properties - one a condo and one a 4-unit rental. The condo has a tenant month to month. Could he short sale the invest. properties and, if so, would the bank come after the equity in his personal property?
