End Of Lease
I gave one of my current tenants 60 day notice to vacate at the end of their lease which is 30 August 2004. My question is on 01 September if I go to my rental and they have not vacated can I change the locks or do I have to go to the courthouse and proceed with the normal eviction proceedings? I have looked online at the Landlord Tenant law but it doesnt really specify. The state is Georgia.

I don't know GA T/L laws, but I've yet to see a state that allows you to forcefully kick out a tenant without a court approved eviction.
Sorry, but you'll still have to file eviction and go thru the process.

Well, at least in Ohio, you have to go through the eviction process.
I reread the T/L Law and unfortunately I have to treat it as a normal eviction. Time process is cut down some though.
