Do i need to get a COA before I decide to rent out a property? OR does that vary per state and township?

Thank you

    COA = Condominium Owners Association

    Are you asking about a Certificate of Occupancy (COO)? I have only had to obtain a COO if the property has been previously cited for code violations or has had major renovations performed (things that require a building permit).

    Your local ordinances may dictate otherwise.

    Yes it varies.

    Check with your county and/or city.
