Is It Hard To Sell Manufactured Homes?

MiamisCraziest profile photo

I am thinking of putting a newer manufactured home on a lot I own, to increase the profits.

My question is, do any of you MH pros find it hard to sell manufactured homes considering it is hard for buyers to get financing and insurance?

Also, Is there anything I need to know before making this move? Thank you for any feedback!

Yes, there are other newer manufactured homes (on the same block) and there are also older small concrete homes in the area. Nothing is really selling, but the market is in a slump all over Fl.

There arent many houses on the market in the neighborhood which I assume could benefit me.

    MiamisCraziest,
If the market for buying and selling is in a slump than how about renting, it should be good right now. Maybe even a rent to own (lease).

That was another option. I need to see how much I can rent it for.

I was told I could get a newer but smaller MH for mid 50k.......I would need to be able to stick to this price range in order to make a decent profit.

Is this reasonable? I am sorry I have never dealt with Manufactured homes before, so I dont know much.

Thanks for the info, John. I am interested in this niche as well and will be placing an order with Amazon tonight.
