Buying And Selling In FL

I have read a few posts that say that yo may need a license to seel MH in FL. Is this true for buying and selling single units with a L/O if I am carrying the note?

I know someone in the Naples area looking to sell 2 mobiles for $4,500 a piece with lot rental from the community of $200 per month. He is moving to NC and doesn't want to have to worry about collecting rent. The people in both units have been there for at least 2 years.

Do I need a license to take over the properties and do a L/O or "rent to own" deal with the current tenants?

I think I can make about 3-4K in profit if I can make the deal. the owner is flexible. He would like 1K down and he will cover the rest until I cansecure other financing up to 12 months.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't know whether or not you would need a license or not ,but this is what the law reads:

Florida law states that any person, firm partnership or corporation that buys, sells, offers for sale, displays for sale or deals in one or more mobile homes in any 12-month period is presumed to be a mobile home dealer and must have an appropriate license issued by the State. Take it for what it's worth.
