What Is An Assignment Of Rent And Leases ???
I ran across these documents under mortgages and was wondering what specifically are these docs. Normally I see them filed seperately, but looking up some mortgages today I ran across a couple of these. Anyone that can help would be appreciated.
Also, besides the normal Deed of Trust, Land Contracts, Mortgages, what are some other types of instruments that other states might use as mortgages / notes. Thanks.
In CA, we use Notes and Deeds of Trust (with assignment of Rent). If being forclosed on, gives trustee the right to collect the rent.
