Hello, Id like to start out by thanking the experts on this site for the knowledge they so liberally share with the beginners. You are greatly appreciy appreciated.

Okay my question is this. What is the benefit to knowing people in your local government. Basically having pull with your towns building commisioner and department. Are there ways you can take over abandoned buildings for low costs or get leads on motivated sellers faster than anyone else with this connection. Any ideas whether there legal or not will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys

DO NOT EVEN APPROACH THIS SUBJECT WITH ANY CIVIL SERVANT...

THEY WILL THINK THE WORST ABOUT YOU.

ALSO JUST BE THE KIND OF PERSON THAT PAYS IN CASH OR ALWAYS PAYS IN FULL AND THEN OFFER YOU BUSINESS CARD TO EFFECT MAYBE A BUILDING REFERRAL FOR 50$ OR SO I HAVE TWO OR THREE PEOPLE MAKING CHECKS IN THE ***ESSORS OFFICE AS PROPERTYS COME AVAILABLE AND THEY SAY THANKS FOR THE "BREAD AND BUTTER"

THIS IS WHAT TURNS CREATIVE INVESTOR INTO POWER USERS...AND THEN IT CAN GET REAL UGLY...

I WAS WARNED BY MANY GOOD SEASONED INVESTORS IN THIS FORUM NOT TO USE A GENERIC FORM, AND TO DO IT THE FIRST TIME RIGHT...

THEY ARE RIGHT AND TURNED ME AROUND REAL QUICK BUT I WOULD NOT PRESENT ANY GENERIC FORM IN A MANNER WITHOUT MY "FLAVOR OR WORDING" AND THERE IS WHERE I TURN THE GENERIC FORM INTO A BINDING CONTRACT AS I HAVE PUT MY NAME TO IT...BUT YOUHAVE TO REMEMBER...SOMEONE MADE THAT FORM TO MAKE MONEY ...AND IT MAY BE THE THE VERY REASON WHY PEOPLE FROWN ON USING THEM OR ESTABLISHING A GOVERNMENTAL HUB TO OFFER THEM FOR FREE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC...

I BELIEVE THE WORLD WIDE WEB SHOULD BE FREE. OF CORRUPTION AND A GOOD THING GOING BAD...

I WISH OTHERS FELT THIS WAY TOO..!
