Help With Deed Transfer
Have an issue I need some help on.
Husband and Wife on Deed... getting divorce (not real friendly). Husband looking to QuitClaim Deed to Wife and get his money out of the house.
Wife is refinancing to get the money to pay husband. Mortgage company wants an executed Deed in Mortgagee (Wife) only name before closing, but Husband will not expose himself prior to getting his money out.
Is there a way to satisfy the mortgage company while protecting the husband?
close in escrow. Let the title company hold all the documents until everything is done.
trust can be so hard to come by, they were married for how long, and all of a sudden they can not trust one another for 15 minutes
