Can You Sell A Primary Residence HUD In Less Than A Year?

Was wondering if there are any penalties or anything if you buy a HUD home as your primary residence then can not live in it for a full year. Are you not able to sell it for a full year? Thank you for all your help!

    If you have occupied the property as your primary residence, but life events are now forcing you to sell, you are permitted to sell. HUD has no issue with you.

    There is a two year waiting period for owner occupants who purchased a HUD home before they can purchase another HUD home as an owner occupant.

    Extenuating circumstances only.

    The feds have their rules and they do follow up if you violate them.
