Spring is here!

As we move towards summer, temperatures will become more consistently warmer and the humidity increases. What''s important to know is that May seems to be the month that most pests such as disease and insects start to make themselves known in the landscape. Be mindful of grubs chaffers (perhaps even that army of worms you may have heard about) and the disease brown patch. If unchecked or untreated, both can equally wreck a lawn after a few short days or weeks. If you are currently maintaining your turf, it is important to keep a vigilant eye on the lawn for sudden dying or dead spots forming even easy to pull out turf. When something doesn''t look right, tell or ask your lawn care provider to assess as soon as possible.
