Mortgage Insurance Premium (MIP)
How do you get the lender to get rid of MIP? (Thought we had PMI but was told we have MIP). Anyway, we got our home appraised, which gave us $100k of immediate equity. These bozos are saying that we have to keep MIP until 2011! The only way they will remove it is for us to refinance, which does not make financial sense for us to do.
I not only want it off. I want a refund too!
