How Do You Find Your Leads?

Hi All,

I'm curious to hear what are the primary resources you use to find leads in your bird dogging. Newspaper, court house, etc...

Anyone?

With 9000 real estate agents in Vegas the competition is tough. Not to mention the countless number of investors here and out of state. You need to generate your own leads by placing ads, signs, and networking. Get to know a few realtors, mortgage brokers, investors, etc.

What type of Signs and Ads are you referring too? Do you want them to be anonymous or specific? If you could give me some general steps to take I would appreciate it. Thanks

If I have learned anything I hope this is it. You should be able to go to the county courthouse and look up the deed on any property in your area. This doesn't cost anything but sometimes it takes some time. At first they might watch you very closely but once you develop a rapport in the office you should be Golden. Am I on the right track anyone?

I haven't gone to the courthouse for Fairfax, but I go every so often for Loudoun. It is in the courthouse in Leesburg. You go to the Land records office and there are about 20 terminals that are self-serve. Just follow the instructions on the screen and you can pull up whatever you want.

Really easy and you can do it all yourself for free. Plenty of people around if you do have a question though.
