Probate Without An Attorney

Has anyone wholesaled a house that needed to go thru probate first. I read a few articles especially from Scoot Rister that say you can help an owner probate their estate in order for you to purchase their house. He says you just have to petition the probate judge for him to give the co-owner power to sell the property. If anyone knows how to do this, can you please explain this process to me. I run across alot of potential deals, but they need to go thru probate and the co-owner who the property was left to always say " I need to clear up some legal issues before i can sell this house". Can someone please advise. Thanks!

Thanks for the respnse! How much does it cost to get this done thru an attorney. Do you pay this fee with your own money and then deduct it from the total sale price? How does this work?
Also, what if there is no mortagage on the house, will the probate judge still let it go for sale?
