Tax Sales Online / Seems Too Good To Be True
I found the following website where you could get properties from lots to 40 plus acres for pennies on the dollar. None were in my area so I am not knowledgable on values but $2,250 for 40 acres in WY sounds like a steal to me!!

Hey Tbird, did you apply for the excess proceeds? In CA you can do that when your lot goes to tax sale, maybe not the case there.
$80 for 2.5 acres in New Mexico sure does sound good. Were taxes low?
