Making A Great Room But Fireplace Is Off Center
im thinking of knocking down a wall in downstairs to make a huge great room but the fire place is on far right, would it look silly to have the fireplace way off center, Im selling the property but wanted to know if this matters

this is what it will look like after the wall is removed but it will double the size of my livingroom is this a good choice

Arranging a couch and chairs around the fireplace, as a conversation nook may even the room out.
Put a nice facing (tile, bricks, etc) around the fireplace and make a nice mantle and make the fireplace the focal point. Then it wont matter if it is off center or not
