They seem to usually have the same prices for the stuff I buy, but has anyone else noticed a trend of which one has better prices or better quality items?
Crawl spaces have their pros and cons. Pros: Easy access to work on equipment or add new equipment. easier to rehab for electrical, plumbing etc. if crawl space is high enough, this is the ideal place to put a water heater. able to install any type of flooring easiers, including solid nailed down wood. Cons: Most duct work are not seal properly causing crawl space air to infiltrate into the home. Unless outside is properly graded, you will have a musty damp crawl space that can lead to mold, mildew and health problems. Footings under the piers are often udersized, causing floors to sag. Should be pretreated for termites and other harmful critters. NC_Yank
