Flooding/mold?

One of my properties flooded a while back, about 12 inches . Rains kept coming and couldn't get much ventilation to dry out once the water backed off. My question is-We found mold on the lower walls exterior and on the studs and inner rock, not much on the studs, and the insurance is allowing for four foot of all rock through-out house to be replaced. Is their going to be an ongoing mold issue with out a water source and whats a quick inexpensive way to treat what mold is left before i re-rock the house?

Thanks-Pat

Once you get the drywall and insulation removed you should treat the mold on the surface to kill it. There are a number of spray on products you can use. Once the wood is dried out and the existing mold is dead you should not have further problems. You can also paint the affected area with anti-microbal paints to seal it up. Your insurance should cover the cost of all this remediation.
