Life With A Real Estate Junkie

Just wondering what you do to unwind and not think about the next deal.

My wife is so tired of me listen to books on investing, doing deals, cell phone calls etc. She want me to have a hobby other than our properties. She escapes easily and unwinds. Do not get me wrong she loves investing just she can stop and smell the roses.

I did take a 2 week vacation and had a great time with her and the kids but I still was looking and thinking about the next deal.

I have a motorcycle yet never have time to ride, I golf and coach golf yet still looking for the next deal. I think looking for deals and ideas are my hobby. I now have my 3 boys getting into it (ages 13, 9 and soon to be eight <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_cool.gif">. They are always thinking what is a good idea and will it work.

Anyone else this messed up or am I the only one.

If you enjoy doing real estate and it does not stress you out, what is the problem? What is better than a hobby that makes you money?

Love the weekday movies.... I still have the day job (teach High School) but play the role of Mr. Mom to my 3 boys in the summer plus hitting the investing hard.

I love to vacation in the winter. Going to AZ this winter mix a little biz with pleasure. Been thinking about my retirement and where I want my homes.

    Take care

    Chris found this,

now I have no clue what it is worth but what condition is it in? Was it crashed or dumped? How hard is it to remove? May be worth it to save some history. I thought I saw that gov is giving tax breaks to save our history.

Those pics are great. It would be so good to see the old girl fly again.
