Landlord Friendly States?
I have owned and managed rental properties for 25 years in California. Although California has never been pro-landlord, it has definitely gotten much worse and is now anti-landlord (pro-tenant) and getting worse. I plan on doing one more exchange and want to find a property in a state that has more balanced tenant/landlord laws. Any suggestions?

I am in Florida and I have NEVER had any problems here....
For ~ Non-Payment...3 weeks and out of property after 3 day Notice...

What now makes it anti-landlord David? Has there been new legislation?

A couple of last years laws are: Change the 30 notice-to-move to 60 days and formal pre-move-out inspection requirements.
Landlords have no influence in the California government. Tenant activist organizations are gaining even more clout.
