Kicking Out An Unwanted House Guest
I have a tenant that allowed a man to move in the apartment without my consent. I am sure that she had a verbal agreement with him to pay some portion of the rent. Now they are fighting and she wants the man to leave. I do not want her to leave. She has changed the locks but the cops move in back in. I think the cops are confusing this with landlord/tenant laws. Or maybe it is landlord/tenant as an illegal sublease.
What are the laws concerning unwanted house guests?

I am not sure about your area, but in my area you can go to the police station and get a Bar and Ban order for your property. You fill it out with the persons info and anytime he is found on the property he goes to jail.
Let him prove he has a lease in place to be on the property.

BTW, I would NEVER rent to anyone without a written agreement. There is absolutely no upside for you and too much risk. Make sure when you raise it, you have them sign a rental agreement - also, make sure you always do a walk thorugh for purposes of documenting th property condition upon move in and move out.
