Purchase Of Mobile
I want to purchase a 4 bedrm 2 bth (59,900) mobile home, located in a park. I want to rent it. Are there any lenders out there who are willing to finance? What are your experiences with renting mobile homes? your input is appreciated.[ Edited by iwant2bindependent on Date 10/28/2003 ]
If they are selling at that price they will probably have a lender in mind for you. Since the mobile doesnt come with land it knocks out most traditional lenders, but there are a few out there that will do mobiles without land. You should look on the web by doing a general search for "Mobile Home lender" you will come up with a couple of national ones to try.

The lease of the land can be VERY expensive and the property managment company may need to approve your tenant to live in the property. Make sure to check this out.

Where are you located? That sounds kinda high for a rental in my neck of the woods. I can buy 2 SFR's for that and not have to worry about lot rent and all that. Of course I live in the backwaters of Ohio too.
