Michigan Tax On Mobile Homes Other Than Sales Tax
Through my finance co. I am told I am paying a monthly tax (property tax) on my mobile home, to the township in which I live, Is this legal in Michigan? I live in a park (community). My home is not on a foundation. Sincerely, Littleone

Michigan has a school tax that is charged on lots in parks. If your home is in a park that may be what your finance co was referring to
