Curious About MH Value

srober profile photo

Hello,
Me and my GF made the mistake of purchasing a moblehome 3 years ago. Our first big purchase together and we got a bad deal. The Girlfriend is miserable living here and I know im going to have to somehow come up with the money to help sell this but I dont know how much.

Im just looking for a rough estimate you think my moble home could sell for.

Ballpark figure would be great. Hoping for a way out.[ Edited by srober on Date 12/13/2003 ]

There is a sort of "blue book" for MH that I can check on for you on Monday. PM me if no one else has access and posts it.

However, MH are different than cars. It really depends on your market, the park you are in etc. Looking at others for sale and talking to other local sellers would be your best option.

    Good Luck !

    srober,

    Glad to meet you.

The book you are looking for is NADA for mobiles, probably available at your local library.

You can also contact a mobile dealer in your area, tell them what you need they will look the value up for you.

You will find a wholesale and retail value, you will want the loan value however, which a dealer will give you.

I didn't recommend going to a dealer as JL did because all the ones I know won't give out the info without draggin you down to their store to flip you into another MH. LOL

Maybe the ones in your area are more cooperative. There are so many repos here in Texas and it is such a soft market, that they are going for much less than appraised value. Hopefully, you are in a better market !

First of all there is no "sort of" book for mobiles, there is a book which is used industry wide and you will notice I posted the link to it. No PM me if no one has the information, either you have the info or you don't. If you do, then you should have posted this information to help everyone.

Since I have been in the automobile and mobile industry as a licensed dealer, I can tell you, the smart dealers give out this information. They may ask if they can help you, but that makes good business since.
