Proof Of LLC Ownership

How does someone prove they are the owner of an LLC?

If an LLC owns a property and it is being sold, how does anyone know that the person claiming to represent the LLC actually does have the ability to sell the property or is even part of the LLC?

What would prevent someone from selling a random LLCs property without the real owners knowledge.

Thanks,

Ryan

When I sell a prop that is owned by my LLC the title co asked me to provide the articles of organization which shows who is the manager and they also have me sign an affidavit stating that I am in charge. They also can verify ownership of an LLC by going to the secretary of state website to confirm.

my title company asked for a resolution, and copy of the Operating Agreement.

So, it would be very easy for someone to draft a fake operating agreement and sell all the properties owned by an LLC?

Also, when you sell an LLC, how does the new owner prove it was actually sold?
