Georgia Security Deeds

I can't seem to find a straight answer to this question anywhere!(I already searched the archives) Forgive me if this is basic, BUT what is the difference between a security deed and a deed of trust and how does having a security deed affect someone going into foreclosure? For example, once a NOD of default is filed, how long do they have before their house goes to auction? As far as I know, Georgia is the only state that issues security deeds. I always thought it was the same thing as a warrenty deed but maybe not.
Help me out guys!

    Hi:
    Okay, either no one knows the answer to my question(which I seriously doubt) or you all think it has been addressed before and I should be able to find the info somewhere else. I have searched the archives...any more suggestions? :-?
