Inspection Report

In the process of buying a 88K invested property for 70K in as is condition. A very respected and reccommended inspector told me that the foundation settling that caused some cracks in the corner of the garage more than likely happened many years ago. You can get it fixed before resale (3-5) years away but it is only in the garage corner and the rest of the house is solid. He said it would not stop him from buying a house that will sell for $100K with very little work. What do you guys think. Like I said this guy is very respected and recommended by many investors. confused

I would have to ask him what it will look like 3-5 years from now. If it is going to constantly deteriorate until you sell it, it could be a problem. If it isnt too much money I would just have it sealed, better safe than sorry.
