  must places secured card isnt the most secure things. a lot of cards still let you go over ur limit, and a lot of hidden fees.

  A secure credit card that I got almost 2 years ago have had built me excellent credit. I recommend it, I started with 2 credit cards one from my bank because I had luck and I had reserves on the account when they offered me and this that I have with 500 limit and believe me, so far so good. they report to 3 credit repositories

  If you have bad credit just get a secured card and work from there. Otherwise start with an Orchard card or something that is relatively easy to get (but there will be an annual fee). I wouldnt trust my credit with anyone but myself.

  You can also get a secured personal loan at your local bank.
