What Is A Bird-Dog Looking For??? I Need Some Reading Material

I just wanted to know if anyone knew where I can find some articles on exactly what a Bird-Dog is looking for. I want to be more informed on what a good deal is so that I know one when i see one. I'm extremely eager to get into this and I want to be properly educated. so if anyone could direct me towards some good material on the basics of what a "Real Estate Analyst" looks for....it would be greatly appreciated. every area needs a different kind of bird dog. There are to get real estate investing clubs you might be interested in going to both are very informative. The DIG meeting in Phila, and there is one in Newark, NJ. You may find out what a bird dog does in your area from them. I have seen so many terms on this site that mean something else in PGH.

Each investor has different criteria of the type of houses they look for. Go to your local REI club and meet investors,they will tell you what they are looking for.
