I drive about 50 minutes to work each day. I often listen to audio programs to education and motivate. My question to you is what do you listen to in order to help out your investor career?
Anything I can get my hands on. It is amazing how much one can actually accomplish just driving. Rather than the music or talk radio, neither of which can make you any $, why not put your time to use.
So yes, anything I can get my hands on that is real estate related, I listen to it over and over until I get sick of it. Then it gets embedded in my brain.
Alot of self help/self improvement/motivational stuff as well. Because my center of influence is not exactly the greatest one, I create my own..so to speak.
You learn to weed out the garbage after a while.
I listen to Carleton Sheets and some Robert K. They remind me to keep going. I'll often learn something new or have a new task before I'm done w/my commute.

I completely agree w/you. If it isn't going to make me money or make me a better person in some way, why listen. I think many of us get use to listening to whatever is on the radio or on TV just by habbit.

I am a huge fan of the "Financial Genius" 6 tape from RK and crew. Also they have a 3 tape that comes with another product, that is also good. That one if focused on real estate.
I listen to Ron Legrand, Robert Kiyosaki, Carleton Sheets and a few others Sometimes I listen for inspiration, sometimes for education, but I definately listen, I learn something everytime I listen, even if I heard the same CD two days ago. There's more information than you can absorb in just one listening session. Yes, some of the information is vague. That gives you some room for creativity.

I have a CD set from an REI guru (who I won't name) but the quality is so poor that I can't even hear it.
