Newbies Don't Give Up - You Know It's Really Funny...

I just want to encourage all of you that are just starting out or going through a slow period to stay encouraged and motivated. I have found three of the sweetest deals on earth. After purchasing and renovating these three multifamily properties I will realize between 3 and 4 million in equity. Just today I spoke with a couple of HMLs that are gonna work with me and do what ever it takes to close these deals over the next 60 days.

You know what the funny thing is, a few weeks ago I asked the question if it was likely to close a first and second at the same time on a large multi, and there was an overwhelming NO. But I have been able to do just that. If I had listened to the people on this list with 500 and 600 posts who said it could not be done, I would still be scratching my head.

So instead of listening to people who say no, I listen to people who say, I have not seen it done but if it is legal, I am sure you can find a way to get it done.

    Good for you! I am proud of your ability to move forward through negatives. Do not think that some of these posts did try and could not do what you have done, I am sure some may have.
    But I found that what people tell me will not work many times actually does.

    Thanks for this post. I was almost at the point of giving up because I cannot find a hard money lender to work with but your post has given me the desire to keep trying.

    Congrats on a job well done despite the odds or the "no's"...Investors like yourself just give us motivation to continue our quest in this business, regardless whether they are newbies or seasoned investors....You've just encouraged me to forge ahead...
    As a newcomer in this game, I must say it has been quite challenging because I have not been blessed like some who either has a mentor leading them the way or even the start up capital...
    The one thing that I am learning and documenting along the way is to be patient, continue researching/learning and learn from those who have been successful in their field of expertise...I'm also learning to not be too hasty in whether to buy someones program, book or whatever the case may be...Because I may be able to find something just as comparable or better at a lesser amount....Isn't this the name of the game...Seeing the true value of something that someone else may pass up on and walk away with a gem that you bought well below FMV.
    So thanks again MrLee for sharing your success story with us all.

    Yes you will be very successful in Atlanta. Whether you can retire with cash and leave your kids a legacy will depend on your work ethic, your knowledge,luck, and how much larger your family get.
