A Formal Introduction
Hello everybody,
Just wanted to let you know who the heck I am before the questions start flying. First off, I've been lurking for a few weeks and reading like crazy. I currently read about 4 different boards day and night.
I live in the Austin area of Texas and haven't invested just yet. I still work a day job, in an industry I love, but I have a distinct advantage because I work from home. This allows me to get my work done while lurking the boards when there is downtime..
Like most people here, I don't find myself thinking like the average Joe. I see financial freedom in my future, and expect nothing less. While I love my job, my job may not always love me back. I have a Godsent wife and a little 2 year old boy, with another on the way. I'm only 24, and find it hard for many people to take me seriously about anything that has to do with money. I was 10 years younger than the next person at my first REI club meeting, and found it a little difficult to network. I'm a people person all the way. I love people. It's almost impossible for me to disslike people. You guys seem like people persons. That's why I love this board. One reason why I know I'll make it in this business is because I'm blessed enough to be trained already to talk to people. My fear of going to an owner's home and negotiating is non existent. I curently give trainings and seminars on video editing to hundreds of people, so speaking is my strong point. In fact, I could very easily see me becoming a pastor. I got a long way to go to be that righteous.
Quite frankly, I want to get rich and help as many people as I can before I die. Having nice things along the way is something I won't feel bad about at all. I know the nice things come from the man upstairs, so I'll take them with open arms and give back as He asks me to. You guys do the same and should be commended.
