Seller Leasing Open Spaces

i have a contract on the property and getting finaced at the moment with a back. i paid up the 3k to get the appraisal done which will take place next week.

at the moment the property has 1500 sqft availiable to lease.

the problem is that i had someone that was ready to go in at 17.50 a foot and instead he put someone there at 15 afoot on a 3 year contract. is he allowed to lease open spaces when he is in a middle of a contract without the concent of the buyer?

please help

    depends on what your contract says. As a rule of thumb yes. Nonetheless i'd make a stink and ask for a $37,500 discount in price.

    Your broker should have put a clause in the contract ( it exists in most forms) that the seller can not make any leases without your consent during the escrow reiod. If it does not so state, he can do what he wishes.
