I would like to know if anyone has ever placed an ad for private investors, and if you have what did your ad say? Also I would like to know if this is illegal?

Thanks

As far as I know it is legal to advertise for investors. If it is not then the world as we know it is an illusion.

As a Mortgage Company I have advertised in Financial Journals for investors both as single entities and as groups. We have with proper reserve funding even issued Full Recourse Agreements in which we stood in support for any paper purchased from us and we also spelled out in great detail in said forms the exact format of the Recourse and the circumstances that it would cover and the time periods of each act. For this type of event instrument we carried funds on deposit.

    cc,
you might want to check in th ekarketing section and if you find nothing, ask the question there. That forum is more geared to marketing questions. I do believ I have seen something on that line before. You will have to look thru the old posts..
    Good luck

I received over 90 calls 02/02/04-02/04/04 with this ad, "Buy this property , with zero money down"

I have placed ads for private investors several times. I did get a few calls, but none of them ever came through. The ad read: Real Estate Investor Has Opportunities for Two Private Investors to Earn 15% Return!!

The only private investors I have ever gotten has been through work of mouth. I talk, talk, talk, to others about real estate and using other peoples money for my investing, and they get better returns than they were getting.

If you run an ad, let me know how it works for you.
