What To Expect At Closing

NYdeveloper profile photo

This is my first deal
I am assigning my purchase contract to another buyer for $5k
What can I expect at closing? Meaning what forms will be completed and what if anything will I be requrired to do? The closing is taking place at the buyer's attorney's office.

You will be doing a simultaneous closing. Since you are doing an assignment of contract you shouldn't have any closing costs to pay. Good Luck!

Sit there at the closing table and look pretty or hansome. The only reason I go to closings is to pick up my check. Let the title company do there job and maybe you can even learn alittle about the process. Let the buyer fill out their part and let the seller fill out theirs. Once the hud 1 is signed by both parties, get your check and play loud music in your car on the way to the www.bank.Lol
