What Is The Hands Down Best Way To Find Good Deals?

Is direct mail the best way to find truley motivated sellers? Can anyone tell me another systematic way that really works well? Do bandit signs and flyers still work? It seems like the "we buy houses" slogan is so over used. rolleyes

As far as I can tell, there is no one best way to find the sellers. The best strategy includes several methods of generating leads. Classified ads, postcard's, direct mailings, public record's searches, bandit signs, and good ole driving around and knocking on doors. I almost forgot, letting everyone know that you buy houses. You'd be amazed at how many people you know who know someone that needs to sell.

    Good luck,

Doing that always works. I was hoping for more of a calculated method, not the hit or miss stuff I'm use to ****Must Reach have more than 6 posts before posting URL's*** really need ideas on a low cost method that produces quick results. Maybe I'll just go back to cold calling.

At the risk of sounding like a smarty, the hands down best way to find deals, is the one that works for you, and that you're comfortable with. There's LOTS of different ways to go about it, just pick one, try it, see if it works, if it does, you're comfortable with it, stick with it, if it don't work, try another...
