"Notice Of Default" Lists
Does anybody know exactly where in the courthouse you could find these list. I heard that the data processing department is where to find them, but it seems that no one knows where that departmnet is. any help would be greatly appreciated. thks.
depending on your county there may not actually be a "list" in my cty there none and they really don't know what props are going to be there until the day of the sale....frustrating

Yea I would suggest a local daily legal publication as well. I pay $19 a month for the the local legal paper here and web site access to their web site. The paper is all right, but the web site is great, it has all the NOD and NTS listings right there at your figertips.

The best and most accurate lists I have found is by going to the "Register of Deeds office" and ask for a printout of recent "Sheriffs Deeds". They charge a ll fee for printing it out, but at least you know you are getting current information straight from the horses mouth. Depending on the lender and whether the property is occupied, the redemption period can be anywhere from one month to a year. Depending where you live the list may be called "Sheriffs Deeds, or NOD. however your most accurate and updated info will come directly from the "Recorders Office". Good luck.

the tax assesor's office has the list in our county.
