LLC Name On Business Card Ok?

BirdDog24 profile photo

Hello!
I am new and about to make my business cards BUT...I have not officially registered for my LLC. Can I still put my LLC on my business card and not get into any hot water for it or what do you all recommend? I want to register it after my first few deals. Remember! I am a newbie and learning so please be nice if I am doing something wrong here..

"XXXXX,LLC"
Thanks for any advice on this topic... :-?

I have occasionally used an entity name that is in the works of being created but I have never signed a document or put any advertising out to the public with a company name that doesn't exist.

    I have two ideas:
    1. You spare the cash now and organize your LLC
    2. You spend $10 on 1000 simple black and white business cards from Staples or such. These have your own name on it and are very plain looking but professional. Then once you have the money, organize your LLC, and make some new business cards that you may spend some decent money on.

    Bad idea.

Register your business entity prior to representing yourself as that entity.

You don't have an LLC until it is registered, as I understand it.
There is a legitimate role for attorneys in thsi sort of thing.
