Does anyone know of any Investors in the Chicago, Lake or Cook county areas interested in wholesale deals? I am looking for a few good Investors in these areas to assign contracts to. Thanks.

Here's what I did (and I'm near you in Lake in the Hills):
I checked out newspaper classified (plus I did the Trib) and called all the We Buy Homes phone numbers. I had a list of questions (from a Robert Allen course I took last month) to find out what they were looking for. For each person/company that answered, I put it into a database under InvestorBuyer (as opposed to RetailBuyer) and voila, I have a buyers list.
I add to this every couple of weeks or so, as I see different We Buy Homes ads. I figure the more of these I collect, the better chance I'll have of either selling/assigning a property or getting a finder's fee for things I don't want.
The other thing I'm doing is going to the monthly Northern Illinois RE Investors meetings in Mchenry--just went to my first last month and there were a ton of people there--a good chance for meeting some more buyers!
