Greetings,

I have been learning about Real Estate investing and have been reading many web pages, books, etc. I have also been hanging out in some chat rooms.

I have bumped into someone in Southern California that is trying to help a friend who listed a house, the buyer could not close escrow and it is now sitting vacant. He wants to sell it FAST.

He says that it appraised for $165K, but had 10 offers for $175K - he did not know how much he owed on any outstanding loans.

I understand that this message board would be overrun if everyone posted properties and leads and such - but I am not looking to make a profit on this. I have zero contacts am not a member of any groups yet and just want to pass him along to anyone who may be able to help him out.

    WIth investing, your trying to get properties at least 30% less than they are worth. this way, you can make money. If he won't budge, then move along. There is plenty of money to be made out there, so don't let one property slow you up .
