Hi Investors:

When looking for preforclosures, what exactly do I look for when I go do a search at the Courthouse (Public Records)???

All suggestions welcome!!! smile

    most pre-fors are on a list outside of the realestate tax office or recording office. if you cant find it -ask the worker in any similar office. They will be more than happy to point it out to you. IT REALLY IS THAT EASY!!! Good luck

    When you walk into the county courthouse, then you should look for "Notice of Defaults" (NODs), Lis Pendens, or foreclosure auction sale dates. They are all forms of locating preforeclosures, but it depends on what your county calls them, NODs or Lis Pendens.
